10 Best Terrace Lounges in the World

Masdar city being built in Abu Dhabi is going to be the world’s first ever city that is sustainable, have zero-carbon and zero-waste ecology.
“We will no longer have to guess what the city of the future looks like. In Abu Dhabi, we will be able to see it with our own eyes.”
- Paul Dickerson, chief operating officer for the U.S. Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
The city of future is being built in Abu Dhabi that is surprising for many around the world but its true. Middle East is going to be the new center of sustainable technology. The world will be watching the new city, which will serve as a large-scale test for renewable energy.
The first project as a result of the Masdar Initiative is a new 6 million square meter sustainable development that uses the traditional planning principals of a walled city, together with existing technologies, to achieve a zero carbon and zero waste community.

350 parts per million is what many scientists, climate experts, and progressive national governments are now saying is the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. At construction start of Masdar city, 350 sign is made.
Its how Masdar city will look in future upon completion.

Masdar City is the city of the future; positioned at the forefront of integrating sustainable technology into modern architectural design. Rome, Athens, Florence; most great historical cities have had the plaza, forum, or square at their epicenter – where the life, values, ideals, and vision of the population evolved. Equally, the center of Masdar must be an iconic beacon that attracts global attention to sustainable technology.

Private cars will be parked at the edge of the 6 km square city and residents will move around using PRT, ‘Personal Rapid Transit,’ driverless electric vehicles which can accommodate up to 4 passengers.
The Dutch-designed vehicles look like something out of the Jetsons. Available with standard fabric upholstery or a leather upgrade, the vehicles in the first phase will operate between two stops: the gateway to the city and the first completed buildings at MIST – Masdar Institute of Technology.
